On Saturday, July 11, 2026, 1 Year to Empowerment will host our 1st ever BLOOM Gala!  This will be a unique combination of our Empowerment Through the Arts Gala and the end-of-the-year Transformation Banquet. The BLOOM Gala is the grand crescendo of this transformation! It is more than a banquet; it is a vibrant, living gallery of growth where the "before" meets the "after." As our Empowerees take the stage to perform alongside local artists, we aren't just watching a show; we are witnessing the literal "blooming" of their potential. By joining us, you are witnessing the moment a young person realizes they are capable of anything, while simultaneously planting the seeds for our incoming class to begin their own journey toward empowerment.

We hope that you will join us and consider bringing your friends! In addition to the amazing performances, you will get a Champagne Cocktail upon arrival, a delicious catered meal, and many chances to join in on the fun with our Empowerees and guests!

EVENT & TABLE SPONSORSHIPS AVAILABLE!

Check out the many opportunities to support our Gala, and have fun while you're at it!!

This year, table sponsors are automatically included in our Coolest Table Competition!  Wear coordinated outfits, decorate your table, and/or offer a brief, fun experience for the audience! The table that is voted as the coolest will win an Escape Room for 12!

All guests will get a collectable Tote Bag!  Companies are encouraged to donate swag for each bag (approximately 150 guests) for the small price of $25'!

1 Year to Empowerment is a FREE, year-long program for teenage girls in middle and high school. The program offers unique and empowering activities several times per month that build self-esteem, self-respect, and self-reliance. We focus on accepting ourselves while also building up one another. There are no requirements to be accepted aside from a positive attitude, willingness to try new things, and a desire to better yourself!  Reach out to learn more about our mission and how to refer a teenage girl who may benefit from mentorship and a safe place to be herself!
